Torrey DeVitto was born on the 8th of June, 1984. She was born in Huntington New York. She's a popular American performer, actress, and former model. Torrey was born and raised in the Florida town of Winter Park. Torrey DeVitto has Italian descent. In fourth grade when she joined the secondary orchestra and sang solos during the wedding of Peter Cook and the renowned actress Christie Brinkley. Her father is Billy Joel's drummer. Billy Joel's announcement during the concert at Wembley Arena was that DeVitto was blessed that day with a baby. DeVitto was performing the drums during that concert. Billy Joel received an immense crowd of applause. Maryellen, Torrey's little sister was also a part of the Endurance Discovery Kids Show. In her early years, Torrey DeVitto spent a large amount of time traveling with her parents. Her first formal schooling was at Youngsville elementary School. After she was graduated she then spent the remainder of the school year in Japan as models. Her modeling career began at the age of 15 years old, as she began showing up in numerous advertisements. It was later on that she didn't wish to be restricted by modeling and pursued an acting career. Torrey DeVitto appeared in numerous online magazines such as Miami Living Cliche Magazine Bello Most Magazine CVLUX, and Crookes Magazine. Chicago Splash also published her work. For the 2004 Raphael Saadiq Ray-Ray album as well as for Stevie Nick's In Your Dream collection she played violin. Torrey DeVitto made her acting debut on Safe Harbor, a TV arrangement produced by The WB. Torrey is famous for her dramatic characters, including in the ABC Family drama arrangement Pretty Little Liars as Melissa Hastings in The CW supernatural drama for teens The Vampire Diaries as Dr. Meredith Fell and in The CW TV series One Tree Hill as Carrie. Torrey is a hospice advocate with National Hospice since 2011, is the Palliative Care Organisation's Ambassador. Further, she is an advisor and supporter of the PETA HSU and RAINN Associations. Torrey DeVitto was involved in the Mental Illness campaign to draw attention to the issues that arise that affect people with mental illness during Mental Health Month. The National Alliance closed the month of May. She's the storyteller in documentaries like Road to Hope that pursues palliative treatment and nurture in Uganda.
